Numerous shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance (across the street!) and it is a favorite family resort destination. Hilton concierges' are the only hotel concierges' who have taken the time to visit the charterboat docks at the Marco River Marina and inspect Enterprise to ensure their guests satisfaction, and we have a long-standing professional relationship as a result. The HIlton Grand Vacations resorts are among the many fine timeshare resorts-the Charter Club, Club regency, Eagles Nest, Sunset Cove, and Surf Club that grace Marco Island. Many of our regular clients are yearly visitors to these resorts, and the front desk and resort personnel are familiar with Enterprise charters. The Marco Island Lakeside Inn is an island favorite. It is a boutique hotel with kitchens in every room. It has a wonderful bar restaurant Casa Mia on the premises. The Inn is very accomidating and has excellent reviews for it's cozy comfortable beds, peaceful relaxing surroundings and great room rates. DINING In addition to their regular menu fare these fine restaurants will prepare your Enterprise "fresh-catch" for you! Guy Harveys Island Grill is located in the Esplanade, on the water, and is a unique,upscale, establishiment with a stunning decor featuring salt-water aquariums and artwork by noted marine naturalist/artist Guy Harvey. Paradise Cafe and the Sandcastles at the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort will gladly prepare your fresh catch for you.A bonus for Hilton guests who don't even have to leave their resort for fine dining. The Snook Inn is a casual waterfront restaurant and a long-time Marco Island "landmark" restaurant,well known to residents and visitors alike. ACTIVITIES Captain Ron's Awesome Everglades Adventures jet ski tours is a one of a kind, first-class, waverunner excursion into the true backcountry beauty of the Ten Thousand Islands. It is a combination of nature tour and adrenaline pumping action ride that is a blast for all ages. Captain Ron pioneered these trips many years ago, and has spawned get-rich-quick imitators, but for his experience there are no equals in this type of business. Offshore Fishing Credit where credit is due, many of the owner/captains of the Marco River Marina fleet have, like myself, twenty years or more experience fishing the waters off of Marco Island. They are not just "competitors" for your business, but friends and colleagues. For multiple boat trips (large groups,conventions,etc.) I will be pleased to engage one or more boats for you. Backwater fishing there are a number of "true" backwater fishing guides in the area. Here are a couple that I can recommend. 1. Capt Bill Koupa runs out of Goodland and with his flats boats specializes in fishing two or three people with ultra-light or fly fishing tackle. 2. Capt Ted Naftal Jr. runs out of the Marco River Marina and is a third-generation Marco Island fishing guide. very few captain/guides know the backwaters like the extended Naftal family of fishermen. Scuba Diving on Marco: Jeff and Jessie Dawson run a full service dive shop just down the street from the Enterprise docks. They can handle all of your scuba diving needs including, instruction, gear rentals and dives to the local wrecks and reefs. BOAT RENTALS Marina and boat rentals the Marco River Marina has been home port for Enterprise for fifteen years, and for Capt. Rich for years prior. It is the main Marina on Marco Island-deep water access, service,ships store and a large fleet of rental boats.
