Capt. Rich has always provided a great experience for our family from his immaculately clean boat to his congenial attitude and respect for the waters he fishes. Our experience this July 2009 was certainly no exception. We had wonderful weather and great ride in and out of the river. The fishing that day was also quite excellent. Capt. Rich was certainly on the fish as we caught everything from Grouper and Blue Runner to Snapper and Spin Fish. I have been waiting to get my picture in Capt. Richâ€™s book of exceptional catches for many years and hopefully this is my year. We were able to hook a Goliath Grouper three times on this trip. Much to my dismay, the first two times we hooked the fish he headed from the wreck we were fishing on and broke the line. However, the third time we hooked the fish..he broke away from the Wreck and Capt. Rich assured me we had him. After a great fight and a team effort, we reeled the fish up the boatâ€¦.what a sight. As I mentioned earlier, Capt. Rich respects the ocean he fishes, so we followed the law to a T and cut the grouper loose. Even if my picture doesnâ€™t make it in the book, it was still a great day of fishing.
